Raised in Sibu, Sarawak, his formative years and cultural experiences have profoundly shaped his approach to law. After completing SPM, he broadened his horizons at Concord College in the United Kingdom, where he developed a global perspective and built a valuable professional network.

He earned his LLB Law degree from the University of Leeds with Upper Second Class Honors, and continued his legal education at BPP London, where he completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). He was subsequently admitted to The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and called to the Bar in the United Kingdom. These experiences provided him with critical skills and a comprehensive understanding of the legal profession.

Driven by a commitment to serve his local community, he returned to Sibu, where he completed his pupillage with Messrs. Stephen Robert & Wong Advocates, and was admitted to the Sarawak Bar. He chose to remain with this esteemed firm to gain extensive practical experience and insight into Sarawak’s unique legal landscape. Over five years with said firm, he gained substantial expertise in various areas of the law, including general negotiations, conveyancing, housing development, housing developer’s licensing and permits, road traffic accident claims, personal insolvency and corporate matters.

In 2021, he embarked on a new chapter by establishing his own practice in Kuching, focusing primarily on conveyancing matters, in collaboration with Mr. Ha Siaw Shyong. Leveraging on his previous experiences, he is committed to providing meticulous and responsible service, ensuring that each client receives professional, transparent, informative and efficient assistance throughout their conveyancing needs.
